Transgender Day of Remembrance (TDOR) is an annual observance on November 20 that honors the memory of the transgender people whose lives were lost in acts of anti-transgender violence.
We will gather at 4001 N. Classen Blvd, OKC, OK at 6 pm and listen to local transgender/two-spirit/gender diverse community leaders, family members and advocates as we honor and remember those loved ones we have lost over the past year. We will then walk in solidarity in a candlelight vigil from 39th & Classen to the Diversity Center of Oklahoma at 39th & Youngs Blvd, for a Celebration of Life and refreshments.
Everyone is encouraged to attend, family-friendly event. Parking at Expressions Community Church is available for those not walking who want to come directly to the Diversity Center of Oklahoma, there will be no parking at the center.
